Appendix A to Research Memorandum re: The Draft Calgary Plan
This Appendix compares recurring themes raised by Calgarians during the original Guidebook for Great Communities hearing in March 2021, the blanket rezoning bylaw hearing in April and May 2024 and the subsequent blanket rezoning bylaw repeal hearing in March and April 2026, with corresponding provisions of the May 2026 draft Calgary Plan . It is intended to illustrate whether the concerns, priorities and planning principles expressed during the Public Hearings have been adequately reflected in the final Plan, which could become Calgary’s principal statutory planning document.
